日本-ASEAN Training Course towards SDGs "Learning 日本ese culture and Biodiversity from UNESCO Biosphere Reserves in 日本"

ASEAN 大学 网络 (利记) Secretariat had the honour of co-hosting the 日本-ASEAN Training Course towards SDGs "Learning 日本ese culture and Biodiversity from UNESCO Biosphere Reserves in 日本" with Kanazawa 大学, 太阳/七六人, 以及联合国教科文组织日本生物圈保护区. 为期五天的培训课程实际上是在2021年10月11日至15日举办的. 

The five-day 日本-ASEAN Training Course towards SDGs "Learning 日本ese culture and Biodiversity from UNESCO Biosphere Reserves in 日本" garnered the attention of over 500 university student applicants from 日本 and ASEAN countries; 65 students comprising 50 students from universities in ASEAN and 15 students from universities in 日本 were selected to join the training course. 培训方案实现了以下目标:

  • Strengthen the capacities of youth interested in sustainable develop to solve environmental issues and introducing economic models to support sustainable development processes
  • Ensure dialogue and active exchange of knowledge on joint regional actions in relation to the conservation of biological and cultural diversity of 日本

在为期五天的虚拟培训项目中, 参与的学生以三场现场讲座的形式多同步地接受训练, 根据录音材料进行两次自学, 以及课后作业和培训课程作业. The students’ performance was evaluated and they would receive the certificate confirming their successful participation.

The remarkable success of the 日本-ASEAN Training Course towards SDGs is a testament to strong and healthy collaboration between the 利记 and Sun/sixERs. The training programme serves as a starting point for more collaborative opportunities that would reinforce the higher education partnership between 日本 and the ASEAN region.
