New 利记-QA Guidebook approved by 利记-QA Council Members

On Thursday 11th June 2020, the 利记-QA Council Members, after careful consideration, approved the Guide to 利记-QA Assessment at Programme Level, Version 4.0. 由协会领导的修订小组于2019年3月开始制定该指南. Prof. Dr. 谭凯川,利记-QA技术团队成员,在持续改进的原则下.

The aim of developing the guide is to improve the way to approach the 利记-QA Assessment at Programme Level as well as to align it with current higher education trends. The Plan-Do-Check-Act Cycle is heavily practiced in the 利记-QA Assessments process therefore the same cycle is used to develop the guide. The Editor-in-Chief for this project is Assoc. As part of their process, 修改委员会听取了包括评价委员在内的多方利害关系者的意见, administrator and faculty members from programmes that have been assessed by the 利记-QA by sending out a large-scale survey in order to create a truly comprehensive guide. Outcome-based education, innovation and the need to develop an entrepreneurial mind-set in students are some of the many new features in the new Guide Version 4.0.

“Overall there is greater emphasis on the need to obtain feedback and to make improvement for embarking on the next cycle of planning and carrying out educational quality assurance activities.” said the Editor-in-Chief. He continued by explaining the differences between the previous and current version of the guide “There were 11 criteria and 62 requirements; there are now 8 criteria and 53 requirements.”
