Damien and Bevin at Bluestockings
This quarterly event takes place at the awesome and collective-run Bluestockings Bookstore in New York’s Lower East Side. It is co-hostessed by Head Madams Bevin and Damien, and includes both featured readers and open mic slots for femme-identified folks.

The first event was in April 2009. We didn’t realize what an important niche we were filling — to the point where Bluestockings was standing room only!
The second event, was June 3, 2009. It kick started our Femme Pride, and readers included [to come].
The third event, was November 23, 2009. It featured the launch of the Femme Coming Out zine, and readers including The World Famous *BOB*, Nicky Click, Jordan Fox, and more zine contributors.
The fourth event was March 13, 2010.
